Event Safety Communication
The Event Alert System (EAS) will be used to communicate the status of course conditions to participants, volunteers and spectators during the event days. All riders should familiarize themselves with the system’s colour indicators and remain alert for directions from event staff, announcers, and volunteer leaders, as well as take precautions to prepare properly for varying conditions on event day. Look for EAS communication at the Start/Finish Lines, Pitstops on route and via email/text communications. In an emergency, riders should be prepared to follow instructions from volunteer leaders, event staff and public safety officials. Also, keep an eye on your phone for emergency updates.

Sherway is served by TTC Route 123 Sherway, which connects from Kipling Station on Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth Subway). Be sure to check the 123 Sherway schedule for early morning departures, as weekend service begins around 6:00 AM with buses arriving at Sherway approximately every 10–15 minutes.
