Paul IS sharING THE POWER OF HUMAN CONNECTION.

Paul’s experience with cancer included challenges but his interactions with everyone from volunteers to nurses to doctors at The Princess Margaret reinforced how human connections can impact a person’s life. He’s sharing his story now to inspire others and, as Vice President of The Carpenters Union, putting incredible support behind The Ride as a sponsor.

Jennifer wants to make a difference.

Less than a month after finishing her chemotherapy treatment, Jennifer rode 50 kilometres in The Ride to Conquer Cancer as part of Team BMO.

Aubrie is surviving and thriving.

Aubrie’s diagnosis of breast cancer at 36 years old was completely unexpected. As a top athlete who loves to ride, she got involved with Ride to Conquer Cancer after some encouragement from a friend.

Maurice is riding during his cancer journey.

At 33 years old, an ex-personal trainer and no family history of cancer, Maurice’s diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma was a complete shock. While he’s not yet cancer-free, Maurice is currently responding well to one of the clinical trials at The Princess Margaret.

Marvin rides for his mother’s memory.

One of Celia Esquivel’s biggest supporters was her son, Marvin. Sadly, Celia, a patient at The Princess Margaret, passed away from ovarian cancer in February of this year. Marvin will be honouring her legacy by once again participating in The Ride and being an inspiration to others.

Karen is a groundbreaker.

In 2019, Karen, a survivor of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, made Ride history with her fundraising goal of $500,000 – and Team Karen ended up raising an incredible $590,000.
